For sporting professionals, busy time schedules can make it difficult to find time to study. To help alleviate these time pressures, Network90Club has recently launched a pilot scheme with Arden University, to help professionals to continue their own career development whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance through its distance learning programmes.

Network90Club is a virtual networking organisation for global sporting professionals – they bring the networking to you. Their main aim is to make the world a smaller place, facilitating contracts between individuals and clubs.

Kosta Kokologos, aged 24, is one of the first students to complete the pilot programme with Arden University, helping him to achieve a certificate in Management and Information.

‘One of the most important things in the sport sector is to continue learning new skills that can be implemented into your everyday work. I started by own business 12 months ago and distance learning has given me the tools I need to carry on developing my career, whilst doing it at my own pace. I had the flexibility to plan my study around my day to day life whilst running my sports agency.

‘I cannot recommend distance learning enough. It took me around 3 months to complete the module with 2-3 hours of learning a day. Not only have I gained new skills, I now have the right experience to continue doing what I love and using the online forum is the perfect platform to share these learnings and inspire others.’

Arden University already offers a wide variety of distance learning courses and plans to continue offering modules through its partnership with Network90Club. With multi-media learning materials and innovative, leading edge virtual classroom study portal, you can study from anywhere in the world, as long as you have access to the internet.

Any member who is interested in finding out more about distance learning can visit www.arden.ac.uk/degree-apprenticeships and contact Network90Club for details on our partnership promotion with Arden University before enrolling.
